This is what a bacon cheese dog looks like. Real hotdogs like you get them in America. For Dutch people a newbie, much different and better than the "knakworst", but for Americans almost a tradition.
The prices are high for such a small hotdog. It seems big, but it's one sausage split in two. I'd expect longer Frankfurt style length and at least two sausages for that price. But apart from that, four stars for the experience!
Burgers were good but what is a huge no go for me is a portion size that is impossible to eat. We ordered one medium fries and one large fries and got an entire bag full of fries that feeds an entire family.
Review Change: so we are the regulars of this place. We used to get quite lots of fries, so now the prices have gone up, but the amount of fries that we now get is really really NOT OK. It seemed to be leftovers and very very less. See picture! This is a shame for the reputation of 5 guys!
Old Review 5 stars: love 5 guys and we love to come back to this specific location, it's friendly, clean and spacious. They make us happy (went 1 time to the location in R'dam centre; which is the worst 5guys we've been to in the world! We've visited numerous locations in for example the US, Spain, Scotland etc.) So yeah, keep up the friendly service! Milkshakes are no 1 as well! Have to try!! 👊
Great burgers, awesome fries. Plus, unlike other American entries into the European market, no charge for refills, ketchup, or for using the bathroom (I'm looking at you, Burger King and McDonald's).
Prices are higher, but two points on that matter, the ingredients are fresh and honestly it costs about the same numerically in the States (a burger there costs $6.99 and here €7.75, no huge difference).
Service is friendly and the atmosphere is fun. I'll definitely be back.
Good food, friendly service, and always clean. A little on the pricy side, but you do get a lot of food. Milkshakes are super yummy.
After eating at Five Guys in New-York I tried this one when I was back home.
The set-up is the same. The taste is also the same. Very good hamburgers with fresh toppings. Okay you pay a bit more then the other fast-food. But then this is more of a gourmet burger then a fast-food burger. Go and spoil yourself!
